U. Allen Plum posts comments, opinions, and observations about American culture: its people, its politics, and its vegetables. Also other stuff. Occasionally there are adventure stories, not terribly thrilling adventure stories, but adventure stories renowned for their accuracy and really good grammar.
As per “. . . really good grammar,” I feel compelled to pull an obnoxious Davies move and call you out for “gate” instead of “gait” in your most recent post. Although I suppose that may fall in the arena of spelling rather than grammar? This is also a test to see if replies on WordPress sites are relevant whatsoever . . .

Heavens to Mergatroid! Did I really write “gate” instead of “gait?” This is terrible. I’m going to go live in a cave now.
